Mildred Doris (DeHart) Crimmins, 85, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away peacefully in the Reading Hospital on Friday, May 12, 2017. She was the loving wife of the late John Thomas Crimmins, Jr. Sadly, John passed away in 2011.

Born in Reading on February 17, 1932, Mildred was a daughter of the late Arthur and Pearl (Hoshauer) DeHart. She was employed for over 30 years in the candy manufacturing industry before retiring in 1994. Some of the places she was employed with were Luden's, Palmer's and Linette's.

Mildred Doris (DeHart) Crimmins, 85, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away peacefully in the Reading Hospital on Friday, May 12, 2017. She was the loving wife of the late John Thomas Crimmins, Jr. Sadly, John passed away in 2011.

Born in Reading on February 17, 1932, Mildred was a daughter of the late Arthur and Pearl (Hoshauer) DeHart. She was employed for over 30 years in the candy manufacturing industry before retiring in 1994. Some of the places she was employed with were Luden's, Palmer's and Linette's.

Mildred enjoyed baking and playing BINGO. She loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her son: Brian K. Crimmins of Muhlenberg Twp.; two grandsons: Travis M. Crimmins and his wife Eleana of Mt. Penn and David A. Crimmins and his wife Briana of Mt. Penn; two nephews: Lincoln, Jr. and Gregory and a niece, Joyce.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mildred is predeceased by her three brothers: William, Earl and Lincoln and two sisters: Esther and Ellen.

Services for Mildred will be Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 11am in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Thursday from 10 to 11am. Mildred will be laid to rest beside her husband, John in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
